| We are looking for enthusiastic PhotoSoc-ers to join the committee in 2012! If you are keen to meet lots of new people, make loads of friends, develop your leadership skills and discover some new ones you didn't even know you had, while learning much more about photography, this is your chance. The only requirements are that you LOVE photography and that you're absolutely dedicated to making PhotoSoc the best it could possibly be! Applications open on 2 January 2012, and will be due on 16 January 2012 at 12am NZT. | Hey PhotoSoc-ers, This is just a reminder about our end of year BBQ / Potluck Party on the beach! Remember to register by 8pm tomorrow night - you don't want to miss out! Details below: When: Friday, 21 October, 6pm onwards Where: Selwyn Domain, Mission Bay If you're keen to come along, please fill out the following form by this Thursday as we would like to have confirmed numbers; https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dHZhbXNrelFpd3NWUUMySG1qN0swWVE6MQ. There is a checklist of what dishes you want to bring along, so please do fill this out; the numbers at the end "x2" is for example, "Greens salad - large bowl x2" means that 2 different people (hence x2) will be bringing one large bowl of greens salad - this is just to divide the load evenly between everyone. If you'd like to bring something not on the list, please flick me an email at nurain.janah@gmail.com. For those of you who are not keen on driving, we will be meeting at Clock Tower at 5 15pm and walking down to 23 Customs Street together to get the bus to Mission Bay - we will head off from the Clock Tower at 5 30pm, so please be there before then! | Hi PhotoSocer's Thanks for all your hardwork the last couple of weeks getting our exhibition to come together. We've had some fantastic shots and can't wait for you to share these with your friends and family! The photos are officially at the venue and we are having an opening night with drinks and nibbles this Thursday from 5-7.30pm. See below for finer details... What: PhotoSoc's Annual Photography Exhibition. Where: Our sponsor Apix, 130 New North Road, Eden Terrace. **approx 20min walk from uni or 5 min bus ride up Symonds st onto New North Road (look out for a white building with Apix written on it on your left) When: 3-23 Oct, Mon-Fri 8.30am-5pm, Opening Night is Thursday 6 Oct 5-7.30pm Why: because we can!
