Hello, I would like to have a photo critique thread on the main page, I understand that we used to have "under the microscope" which wasnt popular. I believe with some promotion, we can get some photo critique thread running. It is a very efficent way to learn.. !! especially for beginners.. Let me know what you think Smile

I liked the critique thread - although i wouldn't recommend it to people who are sensitive about their work. i think people just need to be reminded that it's criticism about their work, and its not directed at them. Also having said that, it helps if the criticism is constructive, not just something like "i think its awesome."

a critique thread should be fun, with of course bearing in mind each own's subjective opinion is no worse/better than anyone elses. perhaps the only requirement of each critique would be 'at least one positive/negative critique' which would make it more fun for all, and helpful to those who wish to put forward their photos here.
